The pay range for this role is $18-$20 per hour.

Adams Generators is seeking a Brand Ambassador to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis.  The Adams Generators Brand Ambassador will work closely with our sales and marketing division to achieve its marketing goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to customers, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events. To excel in this role, The Adams Generators Brand Ambassador will have excellent communication and networking skills. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

 Typical duties and responsibilities include:
  • Setting up marketing displays and making sure that the brand’s advertising instruments are positioned at strategic points. 
  • Formulate, develop, and maintain strong communication links with customers. 
  • Represent the brand to the customers in a positive manner. 
  • Work with sales/marketing division(s) to understand Adams Generators goals/objectives. 
  • Plan and carry out awareness programs to get to prospective customers. 
  • Provide insights and feedback on issues concerning the brand. 
  • Portray a high level of professionalism while dealing with customers. 
To qualify for this role, you will need:
  • A HS Diploma, equivalent, or beyond
  • Some experience in a customer-facing role where sales concepts were used (encouraging customers to seek more information on a product or service)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between two (2) large retail box stores in Lake Zurich, IL and Lake in the Hills, IL.
The schedule for this role is flexible, with a minimum hours requirement of twenty (20) hours per week (part-time). If full-time, you will be eligible for full benefits that includes health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K Matching, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Part-Time employees in this role will not receive additional benefits.   

Computer Skills: 
PC proficiency is required, with experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook 

Reasoning Ability: 
Requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

Mathematical Skills: 
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Language Skills: 
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Requires mastery of business English language skills to read, analyze, and interpret information, policies and procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Able to write reports and business correspondence. 

Physical Demands: 
While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The Employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk and use hands. The Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds of weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 

Work Environment:
