About the Role: 
Join Adams Power as a Plumbing Logistics Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our plumbing operations while gaining valuable experience for potential future apprenticeship opportunities. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.  This is an entry-level position designed for candidates interested in entering the plumbing trade, but willing to learn the logistics/procurement side of the position first (up to 6-months prior to consideration into a plumbing-specific role). 

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of plumbing materials and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse and job sites.
  • Support plumbers by preparing tools and materials for daily tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to streamline operations.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop plumbing skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Assist with the transportation of plumbing materials to various job sites.
  • Operate a Forklift in a confined space

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction or logistics is a plus.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing tools and equipment is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Must be familiar, and able to use, Microsoft Office applications, i.e. excel, word, outlook, teams, etc. 
Schedule:
This full-time role is primarily Monday thru Friday, with start times at/around 7:00am and finishing at/around 3:30pm - with some flexibility each day depending on workload.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to bend, twist, and lift up to 70 lbs. continuously, in addition to climbing ladders, digging trenches at job sites (in all types of weather), and work in confined spaces with limited lighting.

Pay/Compensation:

As an entry-level position, the pay range for this role is $15 - $18 per hour, with performance reviews and pay increases upon entry into a DWD-Approved Plumbing Apprenticeship.
